Summer House with Swimming Pool is about a doctor, Marc Schlosser, who is accused of medical malpractice when a famous actor, Ralph Meier, dies while under Marc's care. Ralph was not only Marc's patient, he was one of Marc's new friends. In fact that's how all the madness began in the first place; Marc and his family had agreed to spend a week at the Meier's extravagant summer home where something twisted ends up taking place. Since everyone is shaken up from what happened at the summer house, they start to wonder if Ralph Meir's death is somehow connected. Once they find out that it definitely is, Dr. Schlosser's life turns into a living hell.
The plot may sound like your average crime/mystery novel, but it's actually much more than that. It's just one of those books that sucks you in the minute you start reading it, and it keeps you engaged the entire time. Not to mention... the exquisitely dark humor is to die for... no pun intended.
