"Whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, exercise yourselves in these things."

God Works In Mysterious Ways
We've all heard the saying "God works in mysterious ways", but personally I didn't understand what it meant until I experienced it firsthand. Let me tell you the story (I promise it's not very long)...
I spent a lot of time praying for someone and it didn't seem like it made much of a difference. In fact I almost gave up hope, because the more I prayed, the worse off this person seemed to become. I felt like I had to be the one to step in and save this individual, but then God told me, "Just hold onto Me, and I will take care of them." I didn't really get what God was saying, but I figured it meant that I just needed to focus on my own life and my relationship with God and to place the other person in His hands. I did this in the best way I knew how and it didn't work right away, but I never gave up. I kept praying no matter what and.... IT WORKED!!! This person's life is completely turning around and now they are turning their lives over to God! I'm so happy!!! I was so worried for so long and now I know for sure that everything is going to be okay. You know, I NEVER used to be a very spirtual person until I hit absolute rock bottom and I realized I needed some sort of supernatural help. I cried out to God and he saved me, and now I see him saving people all around me too. Without Him, there is no hope - I am sure of it. Thank you God for answering my prayers and taking care of my loved ones. I pray for all the people who are still hurting or feeling hopeless. I know that if you helped me, you can help them too. Can I get an AMEN?

My Wonderful Birthday!
I had a wonderful birthday thanks to the fact I got to spend it with my family. After going through sheer hell the past couple years, I was reminded of what is truly important in life - my loved ones! I didn't have some spectacular celebration, I just stayed home, but it was absolutely wonderful! I also have to mention that I am so blessed to have had over 300 birthday wishes on Facebook. That was really sweet of everyone, and it made my day even more happy. God has blessed me so much, and I am so grateful!

It's Almost My Birthday
It's almost my birthday and I just want to say... I made it through another year! It's a complete miracle! I have been on a complete roller coaster with my health problems, hospital stays, medication issues, doctor visits, and some other crazy stuff that I'm not quite ready to talk about on here. My body is so tired and my muscles are so tense. It's either from med side-effects or stress.... or maybe both, who knows. But anyway, I made it... I really made it! I'm very blessed to be with my family and to have all of my friends. Everyone has been there for me through all of it! Thank you guys, I love you all so more than you will ever know! Another thing I want to quickly mention is the fact that I have a few fundraising campaigns going for some non-profit organizations, and it's really cool because they suggested that I "donate my birthday to charity", and that's what I've done. So anybody that would like to donate please let me know. Your donations DO NOT GO TO ME, they go directly to the cause. Please let me know if you are interested. Even if it's just $5 or even $1!!! A little goes a long way! Since I went through such hell, I realized I want to help people more, and I want to make a difference in the world, even if it's just a tiny little difference, it's better than nothing! I've been doing searches on Bing which allows me to earn points, and then I donate my points to CharityImpactCard.com . Charity Impact gives you the opportunity to use your points for a variety of charitable acts such as planting a tree, providing clean water, or bottle feeding a kitten. It's a really awesome website, and I'm so happy that I found it! I also raise points on Care2.com which is also really cool. You can do things like sign petitions and comment on the blog posts in order to earn points, and then you redeem the points for charitable deeds just like Charity Impact. I usually use my points to provide clean water to those in need, because clean water is obviously extremely important for survival. I have a Google page where I plan on talking more about finding free and easy ways to provide clean water, and teaching people how to do it, and I'm hoping some of you will decide to join me. Please follow my page - Let's Give Water! Okay, I'm glad I FINALLY got to explain what I've been up to on here because I'm sure some of you have been wondering. OH!!!! I'm also sponsoring a little girl in the Phillippines, but I'm going to share more about that in the next few days, so stay tuned! Much love to all of you! -Cara xoxo

My Current Read
I'm reading a really great book called "Love In The Asylum" by Lisa Carey, and I'm planning on writing a review when I'm finished. I have to admit, I'm a bit behind because I still want to write a review on the LAST book I read which was called "What She Left Behind" by Ellen Marie Wiseman.
Both books have a similar theme since a mental hospital is one of the main settings in each book. I am very fascinated by anything that has to do with mental hospitals, mental illness, rehabs, addictions, etc. I will tell you more about both of these books later. I might just publish both reviews at the same time, so be patient with me! Much love to all of you! xoxo Cara

Fudge Is The Answer!
Peanut butter freezer fudge is quite possibly one of the greatest discoveries I've ever made when it comes to online recipes and satisfying my sweet tooth. You HAVE to try it. Before you go making this wonderful concoction, please keep in mind that you can add your own special touches to the recipe IF YOU DARE! I added cocoa powder and powdered sugar until I was happy. It turned out AWESOME! Go check ou the recipe,,,

Just Getting Started
I'm finally feeling like there is hope in my life and in this world. I'm doing a little charity work and getting involved in activism. It's really not much, and I haven't seen major results, but it's SOMETHING. I'm also reading A LOT and trying to get my life story straight because I still would really love to write that book I've been talking about for the past few years. It would be interesting folks, BELIEVE ME! My life has been full of insanity and excitement! It's only by the grace of GOD that I'm still here talking about it! Well, the purpose of this post is just to explain what I've been up to and to let everyone know where I'm headed with all of this (my blog, my life).
Thank you for reading my posts!
God bless!
xoxo Cara
